No pressure now, so let's have a couple of EDS lads on the bench with the promise of some actual game time. The biggest boost we can give the academy lads is to show them they are not barred from the PL at this club.

For us yes but for sainst not even close they are very close of securing a EL place and most likely will go all guns blazing

Even better then. Invaluable experience for the young lads playing in a Premier League game that means something for the opponent.

Lots of help and protection for Maffeo and Angelino provided by Milner and Clichy, and lots of help for Iheanacho through the middle from Yaya and Bony. Milner, Yaya and Lampard to be brought off in the 2nd half as a final goodbye.

And send Aguero, Zaba, Demichelis and Fernandinho off on holiday for a relaxation sesh before their busy summers ;)

Maybe not a useless possible game at all for the players, they are mostly on bonus related contracts now which might include the number of points achieved not just runners up spot.

As mercenaries it probably explains our undefeated run in ;-)

Pellegrini will get the balance right.

I'd like to see youth given a chance especially as we cannot change our finish position.
