A few things I hope will happen in this game:

- 3 points to finish the season in style

- Sub off Yaya, Frank and Jimmy to get the sendoff they deserve

- Debuts for future stars e.g. Angelino, Maffeo, Pozo, Nacho, Barker, Evans

- Aguero to score a double hat-trick to equal the record for most goals in a Premier League season.
(There is a chance that this won't happen)

I want to see these boys:

1- Kelechi
2- Seko Fofana
3- Maffeo
4- Angelino

Your first two points are quite reasonable requests and quite possible.

Personally I think your fourth point, however unlikely, is more likely than your third. Iheanacho may possibly get 10 minutes at the end.

Southampton's form has been patchy of late, but Villa's generosity last week will have given them confidence, and their results against the teams above them are generally quite good. Mané moves well across the back four and they're quite adept at getting in behind the fullbacks, so it should be another entertaining contest.

Then go and watch an EDS Match :)

Seriuosly, youth will only play if they are good enough and as we haven't seen much this season, suggests they are not. I want to finish the season on a continued winning run and not jeopardise that by giving youth a chance to prove themselves (they should be doing that week in week out with the EDS).

A copy of our last game vs Saints back in November would do, including the weatherconditions that day.

Just hope and sort of expect us to end the season in style and make a good atmosphere for the final lap by players and whoever they carry with them waving goodbye. Saints have a goal: a last attempt to try and qualify for European football. So they will be no mugs and let us have our party too soon. Therefore we need to make sure to wrap up the game asap. And we can do this when at home.

Don't really understand subbing Yaya and Milner for a "goodbye and thank you"-send off. Unless I missed something, they aren't exactly leaving for a certainty, are they? Lampard is a different matter. He should get a goodbye to the PL in style.

And as for youth players? Well, if they are good enough and ready to play, I'm sure we will see maybe one or two on the bench. But I doubt it as this game is also the last for every squadmember who have been with us all season. You just don't put them aside to force in a youth-player for the sake of a few fans. You include them for the right reasons. I rather the EDS concentrate on their derby and beat the young rags the night before and gain some revenge from their 0-4 defeat recently.

Yup posted this in the other thread. Hope we do our best even with the game in hand.

Aguero for top scorer and Hart for the golden glove.

"Five goalkeepers will go into the final day of the Premier League season with a chance of winning the Golden Glove, awarded for the most clean sheets.

Swansea City's Lukasz Fabianski, Southampton's Fraser Forster, Manchester City's Joe Hart and Liverpool's Simon Mignolet are all joint top on 13 clean sheets. "
- ESPN

That can't be right, surely De Gea and Courtious are the best keepers in the league?

manuel and the team owe it to the fans to sign off the season with a win imo. if we get beat the lap of honour will be sparse!!!

Anyone else think Dzeko might get a game? Surely his last for the club and would be a good gesture to dub him off in the 70/80th. So I predict a 4-4-2.
