Last time I did the Torch was in the play off final in 99 and I have to say it was absolutely buzzing and this is having done the west side of wembley pubs several times.

Was there too. Very funny when a coach load of gillingham supporters came round the corner giving it loads and then the bus had to stop right in front of the pub and hundreds of city fans because of traffic. They probably still haven't been able to wash off the amount of beer that hit the bus that day.

I've just recieved the email from the club regarding our behaviour getting to and from Wembley and how they are closing the pubs after the game (Kill joys). I read the following sentence:

There is also a controlled drinking zone around Wembley Stadium which will be enforced.

What does that even mean? Can I drink cans or not? I will be anyway, but an actual area designated to us cheapo's sounds great.

I've seen the email about shutting the pubs after the game. Really fucking annoying if it happens, because if you win the celebrations in the local pubs are superb.

The only game that happened before was the united semi, on police advice because of the trouble before the game. I can't see there being any trouble and I hope common sense prevails.
