A paper exercise before Sky and BT manipulate them as the season progresses.

Spurs away first please to fuck that game off early.

:)
That’s true for exact days and KO times, but 15th June will still provide the structure of the season and the sequence of opponents largely.

Sky usually gives us a tough start but also usually gives us a newly promoted team in the first game.

Swansea 2011/12
Southampton 2012/13
Brighton 2017/18

Sky also loves to throw in one off the top 6 teams early and its usually one of the London clubs. They save Liverpool and United towards Autumn. The fixtures are very predictable and they time it to make it more dramatic especially when it comes to the title race.

Ideally we start at home to someone shit, get three points in the bag, then an easy away fixture. Need to get ahead this season and stay there.

However, we’re bound to be away first, and probably the ‘random’ fixture generator will give us a newly promoted team when their fans and players hyped up and full of confidence.

Obviously the rag shit will be at home first game of the season, probably to someone like Forest or Bournemouth.
