Premier League Games 11/12/13/14/15 May '24

To be clear from the start, I'm having nothing to do with claims that the rags threw the game. It was simply a very poor game and I don't think Arsenal were particularly good but they didn't need to be. But United were poor some of the time and very poor the rest and the poorest of all was Casemiro whose role in Arsenal's goal was crucial. They never looked like getting that goal back; no penetration to play their way through and no way for the two wide men to play with Hojland. Would it be any different with "Bruno"? Or Rashford? But today they were clueless.
 
Per the match ratings Garnacho gets 7.2, the third best United player, and better than 7 of the Arsenal players (not that they were much good). But seriously, how can anyone watch that game and rate his performance at anything other than a disaster. Lots of posession, easily dispossessed, repeated bad decisions, almost no positive impact, poor touches, weak shots, completely headless. He gets a 7.2 out of 10, presumably Eric TH was doing the ratings.

Agree they have learnt. But even against a shit side it was a risky strategy not going for that second goal - if Garnacho wasn’t such a greedy twat and actually looked for a pass it could have gone badly wrong for Arsenal. Three goals better with two games to go is not a huge advantage either - but Arsenal don’t take risks as they showed coming to the Etihad.

They were still wobbly as fuck and if it was anyone but the rags they would have been more in shit
