The problem is that s a lot of managers contradict themselves at moments like these.....look at the comments of the Luton manager...if he just came out and said it was a wrong decision and the goal shouldnt have stood then it backs up what we all know....comments like this allow the "confusion" to continue......there is no confusion...its a foul but when it goes in your favour managers are ambiguous in their comments and so it allows the law makers/press/media to get away with the current narrative.....EVERY manager needs to be stepping up in these moments and saying..yes it was wrong/we got away with one there etc. Until the narrative is the same from everyone - nothing will change but because the human condition wont allow that and everyone is out for themselves most of the time, it will continue.
Must be a hole hearted fan, just not of City
Problem is the referee on the day last night the referee thought it wasn't a foul I'll guarantee the next game he referees that same incident he will blow his whistle
Burnley were sawn off. After Akanji was said to have fouled Allison and Diaz goal was ruled out, PGMOL held a meeting to clarify that any player preventing a goalkeeper trying to get to a catch or punch a ball would be pulled up for a foul!Whether we agree with it or not, that’s a foul on Trafford by today’s standards.
But again thats just human....different perspective at a different time. Saying you can guarantee that it will happen differently in another game is just like saying you can guarantee that the Sun will come up or that tomorrow will be Sunday...Problem is the referee on the day last night the referee thought it wasn't a foul I'll guarantee the next game he referees that same incident he will blow his whistle
