Premier League Games 12/13/14 January '24

There was 2 angles for that offside . The first 1 you could see clearly when the player released the ball and he looked miles on if you look at the line of 6 yard box as a reference point. The other angle in which they gave the offside looked off but didn’t show him releasing the ball , it’s a complete farce.
The reverse angle doesn’t have Bailey in the picture, so is misleading.

I think they make it up as they go along. VAR has ruined the game along with sky for the over analysis of ever decision

And that is the real problem. The endless freeze-frame and slow motion replays over-analysing every decision with commentary by morons who don't even understand the laws anyway. Is it a surprise fans are divided depending on who they listen to and which angles the broadcasters decide to show, or not show?

The person in the ground best placed to see offsides is the linesman. They may make the occasional mistake, but 90% of the time they would be so close that no-one in the ground or watching a broadcast in real time would be able to see any better. Just leave it to the linesmen and forget the endless analysis. If there is a decision that is obviously wrong in real time, by all means debate it, but there is enough good stuff to talk about in even the most boring games without endlessly looking for mistakes by the officials.

Terrible game. Doucoure just blazes every bloody pass too hard. That Everton chance was a terrible shot. Hoping the next game is a draw but I can see spurs winning

As much of a knob that Redknap jnr is he`s right in saying forget the offside it`s a foul.

He is correct. That said VAR will never overturn a decision for a shirt pull or tussle in the box like that because the last time one was given was Rodri in the derby and everybody lost their minds about it.

Much easier for them to just ignore it for an easy life when people react so stupidly to blatant fouls.

Exactly, debate it like we did years ago on the way home from the game and then forget it. You can’t change it and things like ref watch on sky on Monday morning only emphasis the mistakes and fuck people off more
