That’s not what he meant with that comment. If you’d listened to him, he went on to clarify that he doesn’t care if we don’t win the Prem or Cup if we lose out despite playing well with desire and the right attitude… and he’s not seeing that at the moment.Judging by Pep’s comments yesterday about not being bothered about winning the league it looks like it’s gone with him as well

I’m not sure the fans wanted him sold but a lot of people don’t remember that a couple of years ago the Club agreed a fee with Wolves for him and this season sold him to Arsenal. Clearly in the eyes of the Club management he was a squad player at best and was expendable.People are rewriting history. Fans wanted him sold. Because he was not aLB and people wanted a proper LB
I always liked him, he may not have been the greatest defender in the world but he was a grafter and a great team player.
