Premier League Games 13/14/15 August 21

Just seen the highlights. That second goal is going to need some explaining. That's a foul, it's even "clear and obvious" to fit their bullshit remit. If this is what they mean by dialling back var intervention then what's the point. That has to be ruled out. I really hope the media and the pundits lay into the officiating this season. The euros shown just how far behind we are in that department and its in desperate need of vast improvements.
I maybe from the old school of thinking but I agree with Neville. I don’t think that’s a foul , keeper has to be stronger. Keepers have had way too much protection .However Im sure against Liverpool or United it’s probably blown for a foul

Isn't that the spuds too? Maybe they'e merging into the same entity?

Spurs last hard on was in 1961, they don't remember.

Arsenal had an invincible stiffy in 2004, they do remember.

Hence wankers....

Leno is weak but that is irrelevant as that is definitely a foul, so blatant aswel.

I don't know what Neville said. I do think keepers get too much protection, they get fouls when their own players smash into them but in that instance it's a very clear foul. You can do that with an outfield player (just) but doing that to a keeper prevents him from using his hands. Keepers weak and you'd expect him to smash through him but him being feeble doesn't change the offence.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion of course but I struggle to see how anybody can say that's not a foul.

Seems like we’re going to go too far the other way and a player will need to be assaulted for VAR to get involved.

Then they’ll wheel out Dermott on Monday to say nothing should be overturned as the bar has changed.
This is exactly what's going to happen. Then mid-season when pressure mounts they'll cave and change the rules from week to week before settling on something only mildly better but still in need of fixing. Then next summer back to the drawing board.

Other countries don't have anywhere near as much of a problem with it and the euros used it extremely well overall considering you have refs from all over who are used to officiating differently but over here we have incompetence leading the incompetent, a system that always backs one another up no matter how muhh of a tit it makes them seem and nobody's ever allowed to question it

Agent Arteta destroying Arsenal from the inside.

Fuck the mard arse letter writing cunts.
