If that'd been Sergio he'd have been yellow carded for simulation - No doubt about it!

Not a problem with that one from me. I know that professionals running at pace require minimal contact to fall, it’s simply the speed they’re running at that knocks them off balance, but there’s plenty scope from the slightest touch to Lamela’s common assault. VAR simply will not overturn a referee’s call unless it is horrendously wrong such as in Sterling’s CL penalty trip.

They didn't see rodders body slammed,that was a clear and obvious error
 
Without VAR. there could have been ZERO contact and the ref would have just gave it.

Surely it’s better now that we can see the same incident the VAR team are seeing and if it’s a blatant dive there is no excuse!
