Southampton deserved to wallop them in the final of the LC and the decent teams knocked each other out of the EL and they still got lucky and nearly went out to Guidetti and then were lucky against Ajax. They were the luckiest team in a sea of mediocrity not the best.

I can't really say this without stating the bleedin' obvious but their only game plan is to knock it over or through to one of their front three who invariably make the same run every time in anticipation of being played in. The reason we have difficulty there is because we play a high line which gives them repeated opportunities to deploy said only game plan. I can't see us changing our style and them changing theirs with predictable results unfortunately. That said I will be in full expectation of us finally giving them a tonking at their place with Raheem scoring the winner.
 
Definitely clear signs tonight they will once again struggle breaking teams down. Very forunate to win, I’m not convinced they would if the dive wasn’t given as a penalty.

Chelsea are bigger title rivals IMO.
 
The FA brought in their rule last season to retro ban any player conning the ref for a pen. Game is over and won, but i'd like to see what comes of this,,Salah digs his toes into the turf to win it.

Salah went down like he’s been shot by a sniper just outside the box. Replay shows he kicked the ball away and it shouldn’t have been a red.

Everything went against Palace; hitting the crossbar, the penalty and the red card. 2-0 flattered Liverpool.
