Liverpool were the better side but they struggled to break down Palace and Palace got past the press quite frequently.
It was a pen (though he went down like a sack of spuds) though we'd be unlikely to get one like that given.

Am I the only one who thought Palace outplayed them in the 2H? If I'm a Liverpool fan I wipe my brow. They very well could have drawn that match, and Palace as we well know has been a banana skin for them before. Agree the 2-0 flatters Liverpool. Of course . . . no commentator I've heard thinks anything other than they are "clear contenders" after that performance; not sure what match they were watching. Palace is going to surprise a few sides I think.

Yes I agree. It was a pen and a stupidly clumsy challenge. Real shame the shot which hit the crossbar or Palace did not hold onto halftime, as the longer the game went on the more it would of played into Palaces counter attacking game.
