So it does.You need to look at the table again. The scenario you describe leaves Arsenal a point behind them with a game in hand on Wednesday. That gives them a lot to play for. Now if Everton and Arsenal win and they end up 5 points behind Arsenal, then they have fuck all really to play for
I never want United to win...
But I might accept them winning today (and Arsenal losing) to give them less to play for on Wednesday.
I think they’ll just miss out on the top 4 regardless (as I don’t think either Liverpool or Spurs will win the CL).
