You need to look at the table again. The scenario you describe leaves Arsenal a point behind them with a game in hand on Wednesday. That gives them a lot to play for. Now if Everton and Arsenal win and they end up 5 points behind Arsenal, then they have fuck all really to play for

I never want United to win...

But I might accept them winning today (and Arsenal losing) to give them less to play for on Wednesday.

I think they’ll just miss out on the top 4 regardless (as I don’t think either Liverpool or Spurs will win the CL).

I'm going for the reverse philosophy...if they draw here and Arsenal win they are 4 points behind Arsenal and 3 behind Spurs. That puts even more pressure on them for Wednesday and then Chelsea home at the weekend. Arsenal and Spurs could be out of sight by the end of the next weekend. Spurs have a very decent run in with very winnable games, as do the Arse.
Can't seem them finishing top 4 either.
