The American ownership have been a horrible influence on the league and I think they’ve jumped on the opportunity presented by the economic disruption of the pandemic to take more control of how the league is operated.

LIverpool second goal Firmino definitely offside. VAR check and Firmino deemed to not be making a material attempt to play the ball or affect Mitchell defending of the cross. Penalty given after ref advised to go and look at the monitor and then he changes his original decision. A clear red card for Burnley player standing on Arsenal player's outstretched leg - yellow given and ref not told to go and check for possible red card.
PL is the most watched league in the world and the way VAR is currently used makes it a farce. The spectators are being lied to.
