Premier League Games 21/22/23 January '22

I'll take your word for it. Still some distance short of "loads"
The problem is that a "soft penalty" is a very lose term. If you support a team you will probably see it as stonewall, but when your rival get the same type of pen it's soft and unfair. It's completely natural but makes discussions like these difficult

You're talking in generalisations. Ive presented specific evidence over the weekend against the background of the PL being "uncompetitive". It's staring you in the face.
But he’s right. Go back to the weekend of the Arsenal game and have a read of RAWK or watch AFTV.

then you have the mind of a 3 year old if that's your understanding of corruption.

So is your position that there is:

A) Corruption that specifically harms Manchester City (which, given we win the league most seasons seems unlikely)
B) Corruption that specifically benefits Manchester City
C) Corruption that is ambivalent to Manchester City (betting cartels lumping money on players getting booked, for example)

To what end do you believe games are being manipulated? Is it just to try and guarantee certain clubs (but not our club) favourable results? Or is more to do with general match fixing/betting manipulation?

Fulham at home last season is one. Raz got the slightest flick on the knee that wouldn’t register with me or you if it was the same kind of contact when walking past the sofa and glancing the arm of the chair with our knee; and Raz went down like a sack of spuds. We got a pen for it, it was as soft as it gets and I even said “get up Raheem, we don’t need to do that”.

Raz does do that. The problem is that it's got to a point where it's the boy crying “Wolf!” Sometimes he is genuinely cut down, and he doesn't get it because he's now got that reputation with certain refs.
Bernardo by contrast does not dive. He's simply not interested in doing it. Even when he's really fouled in the box, and he could make a meal of it. That's one of several reasons why that was incontrovertibly a penalty at Arsenal.
On another note, what's happened to the famous “Oooh, look out, Arsenal and Spurs are starting to motor”? So much for that…

Read around the main forums of all sets of fans, or even speak to other sets of fans at games, and they all think the game is bent against them. They can’t all be right.

Liverpool United and Arsenal fans all think City get favourable decisions and the game is bent in our favour. A number of clubs’ fans, maybe ¾ of the league(?), are covinced we are corrupt and are getting away with financial irregularities. They can’t believe how we’re “getting away with it”.

Every set of fans has a strange paranoid section within them. You only have to see the Covid/vaccine stuff or people who believe in the all-knowing spaghetti armed jelly man who lives on the other side of the Moon to see what strange stuff people believe in.
With the dippers and Rags it helps them mitigate our success and makes them feel better. The fact that there is an explanation outside our brilliant structure and standard of football must be down to a sleight of hand.
Having said that some of our fans have the same mindset.
