I wish teams played so open against us like they do for Liverpool.

It’s how Liverpool play we play from the back slow it down by passing it backwards and gradually move in the opposition half is why we have a high possession %. Against the poorer teams it’s better to have less possession % stops the parked buses.

Entirely down to us, Liverpool play a speed and bypass the midfield a lot to maximise the space and minimise the defenders for their front players, we pass it around the back for 10 minutes whilst everybody gets set in their defensive shape then we’ll pass around at a slow lethargic pace some more. Nothing to do with how open opposition are
