I certainly hope you are right, mate.Definitely agree accountability is an issue. fans are dwelling on decisions and inventing conspiracy theories because nobody is made accountable but equally the fans don’t seem to be willing to accept a var decision might be wrong from time to time and for somebody to come out and say that would then raise countless calls to get rid of it and go back to refs making everything up.
At the very least, every wrong or dodgy decision puts more pressure on the officials, there’s more scrutiny for every decision they make now that they have var to assist them. it’s not going to happen instantly but I think it will lead to a much needed improvement in the quality of our officials
That, too!Ah right,i thought you were being a dick lol
Don’t you remember his superb refereeing performances when we played?
Barring Mata, who I would still take right now, even if he didn’t play much for us (not like we have any players like that already).Rags bench, fuck me that's shit.
Subs: Romero,Mata, Pereira, Young, Greenwood, Matic, Tuanzebe
Repetitive. ;)That, too!

Which, if true, is also a problem with the implementation.
The issues with the current implementation are not just confined to how it impacts outcomes (and there are issues there, as described by many already), they also extend to transparency and fan adoption.not really as it doesnt affect the outcome of the decision...
