Premier League Games 25/26/27 October 2024

Two absolutely shite teams sending everyone watching in to a stupor.

And the Palace-Spurs match is not much better.

Weird seeing some of these takes on Palmer, he never showed his Chelsea form with us and was given plenty of opportunity.

What frustrates me is that teams park the bus against City but overcommit going forward against Chelsea as if they somehow don't have a manager who copies exactly from Pep's homework.

Disagree he showed loads of great form for city, just lost his confidence in front of goal and was snatching at things. plenty of us were against selling him and warned exactly this would happen (and have the old posts to prove it).

Its done now, best thing for City is he becomes as good as possible so the club don’t make the same mistake again.

This Chelsea game is pretty open. Both teams giving away chances. Could be a few goals at both ends.

Chelsea are impressive. They’re a bit naïve at times and might not make the Top4 yet. But they’re all young/of a similar age and if they stick together as a team and all reach their prime years at the same time, and with this coach (I like the football he has them playing), I reckon theyll win the league before long.

The second point is true however, the number of times we could play the type of ball Palmer played yesterday but just dithered was poor. Without KDB our transition is like watching paint dry.
