Weird seeing some of these takes on Palmer, he never showed his Chelsea form with us and was given plenty of opportunity.

What frustrates me is that teams park the bus against City but overcommit going forward against Chelsea as if they somehow don't have a manager who copies exactly from Pep's homework.

He didn’t get plenty of opportunity. He played most of his last season on the left which is far from his best position. He wasn’t getting in the team ahead of Mahrez, Foden, Bernardo or Kev so there was no room for him. Just a shame we didn’t see him feature properly week in week out.
