United v Spurs brief highlights

This will be sent to the Hague if Sky have their way.
Harsh - perhaps.
Completely wrong - no.
Strange how even when he's slipping he manages to raise his studs and catch his intended target. Deserves it.
VAR wouldn't have given it, but they were never going to overturn it. So yeah, 50/50 decision, really.

Spurs just ran through Utd at will on so many occasions. That 1st goal though was mind blowingly bad defending. I think it was four or five Utd players went with the lad on the ball but no one closed him down whatsoever, leaving acres of space for Johnson to tap it in. Absolute comic book stuff.

100%. Fucked his team, absolutely no reason for that. It's the right call, if you ask me...

Not strange at all, by the way (I know you're being ironic). It's who he is as a human being...

PS. Just to be clear, if that was the other way around, if it had happened to him, BF would still be rolling on the floor, in "pain", begging for a red on his opponent. Zero sympathy for the guy, I'm sorry...

exactly, a Garnacho-type roll that involves 5/6 rolls, screaming at the ref for a red card .....( in the interest of accuracy )

Very similar to the goal against Twente last week. The rag midfielders seem to disappear under pressure

Ignorance of danger. Stupidity. People lacking a football brain. All of that (and more) combined with laziness, they're not used to working hard. All 3 goals are down to bad defending, by the way, for different reasons...

Listen, we can talk all day regarding their defensive function alone. The goals they concede vs Liverpool, for example, are also pretty instructive. But I still remember Brighton's winning goal on match day 2, it really made an impression to me...

I mean, I remember spending a few minutes watching it again and again, I honestly could not believe my eyes. It's 1-1, deep in injury time, and they're defending a corner, if I remember well. In a packed box, following a simple cross, two (!) Brighton players will find themselves in acres of space, totally free, totally unmarked in the far post, one of them scores with a simple execution. 2-1, game over! Don't ask me about their defensive shape, don't ask me what they were thinking, don't ask me how the fuck that was ever possible, I have no answer. I mean, my English are not good enough to describe that situation. One thing I know for sure though, J. Pedro could not have visualised such an action, not even in his dreams, especially against a supposedly "big 6" team. Will he ever score an easier goal in his career?

Watch it again, if you like. And if you do, just keep reminding yourself that you're watching a PL team "defending"...
