No, its not.
Pep said that Palmer wanted to stay and Pep wanted him to stay.
He obviously couldn't guarantee him game time and the Bid from Chelsea was a good deal all around.

At least we’ve played Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle in the opening 6 games. But how we sustain a challenge without Rodri I’m not really sure at this point. Then with KDB and Gundo both waning, the midfield really doesn’t look quite up to scratch. We have to hang on in there until January and hope there’s a deal that can be done.

Exactly lots more games to go, I still think we won’t win the league but will win the CL only because I want to go to Munich :)
