I agree. Thing is, they get so much credit for winning X amount of games on the trot in a season, as if it's never been done before. So the pundits decide to use a different benchmark across more than one season (when it suits). A team like ours win back to back PL titles, as well as winning every single domestic cup competition available - yet Liverpool are suddenly lauded by the commentators as 'best in the world'. I don't lose any sleep over it, but it does leave a sour taste in the mouth.Too little too late for us, if the gap was even nine points I think they'd seriously wobble.

The league is done. But I hope to see these Dippers cnut crash out of the CL. If they play at how they play today, NO chance they going to win Simeone Atletico, they have a 1 goal deficit to chase. And Simeone is not stupid. I believe in Simeone can get the job done.

Nah, this was part of the script... now that the dippers have got the league all but won the authorities can ease off on all the help and favourable decisions they've been receiving just to demonstrate how ''these things even themselves out over the course of a season''

We beat them and they wobble and get a few draws and end on 99 points, still win the league, but not invincibles and not centurians.
That will do.
We on the other hand do a cup double/treble and still set a bench mark ;-)
They will not be true Centurians; never forget that we got 100 points and 100+ goals. The Livarpool 'best strike force in the world ever ever' TM will not reach our goals total ;-)
They were going for records though....
They could still end up with records if ours get deleted from history and taken away from us through retrospective punishment...
