Not true, actually. I remember Foden being tripped by an opposing keeper, and because he scrambled back to his feet, he didn't get the penalty. Likewise, Sterling was pushed in the back by Walker (he actually admitted it after the game, citing he had to do something to put Sterling off). Again, we didn't get the penalty. What a joke. Why does he have to go down? A foul is a foul, whether a player goes down or not. If the referee has missed a foul, VAR should intervene. To not do so encourages diving.
Is it just me, or do a lot of their goals involve an element of controversy about them?
In modern football it's a foul anywhere else on the pitch; two defenders, one at the front swipes a leg out, the one at the back blocks the run, attacker jumps and collides. 100% foul.Because it was a dive. If Almiron tried that against us we'd all want him booked.
yes... lucky! You have to go back to 7 nov to find something going against them. Allison own goal against West Ham . Since then everything has been going for them Everything.
No injury's,lucky goals ,lucky referring, very lucky CL draw.
They are one of the best team ever but my god are they lucky
