Premier League Games 30/April, 1/2/3 May

Disagree with all of that.

It's a fact it's studs up, it's a fact it makes contact on the ankle and rides up his shin, and it's a fact he's lunged in so I don't know what you're disagreeing with.

He ticks every single box for a referee to think he's endangered a player's safety and that's a straight red.

He wins the ball while stretching and there is nowhere else for his leg to go. Not an out of control lunge or dangerous challenge in my opinion.

You keep saying "there's nowhere else for his leg to go" like it matters. It doesn't. If you make a challenge where the only place your leg can go is into the shin of the other player, it's a red card.

I'm disagreeing with your opinion, which are not facts, is that allowed?

If you don't consider the contact on Vardy to be dangerous then I never want to be on a football pitch with you. It's an out of control lunge, it's studs up, it starts on the ankle, and rides up his shin.

Vardy is lucky he's not injured.

That's a dangerous challenge. Players can get injured in normal, fair, challenges so no, I don't think any injury means a red, but this wasn't a safe attempt on the ball.

If an opposition player made this contact on KDB tomorrow, 99% of the forum would be screaming bloody murder.

Can’t agree . Vardy runs into where his attempt to play the ball finishes.
By your template, if a player is prone on the floor and an opposing player runs into his studs, it’s a red ?

Which bit are you disagreeing with?

The facts are pretty simple, the rules are pretty straight forward.

Are you disagreeing that he lunged for the ball? Are you disagreeing that he made contact with Vardy's ankle? That his studs were up?

You're right most of us would be screaming blue murder because we're City fans, in a game without vested interest we can be more objective. He wins the ball admittedly he catches Vardy the noted play actor but certainly not on the shin side of leg he wasn't hurt to be fair and the correct decision was a yellow card in my opinion at least.

Should KDB have been sent off against PSG then? His studs went down the player's ankle onto his foot if I remember correctly, without getting near the ball.

No, lying on the floor isn't making a challenge is it?

You don't remember correctly, he stepped on someones foot only. It's not endangering a player like lunging into his ankle.
