Premier League Games 30/April, 1/2/3 May

Strange how VAR didn't say to the ref you might want to have a look at that as he clearly wins the ball so harsh to say he's denied a goal scoring opportunity. Struggling see the point of it being there.
Problem is the people running var are just as useless as the clown on the pitch.

You're right most of us would be screaming blue murder because we're City fans, in a game without vested interest we can be more objective. He wins the ball admittedly he catches Vardy the noted play actor but certainly not on the shin side of leg he wasn't hurt to be fair and the correct decision was a yellow card in my opinion at least.

I don't think you are being objective. You're hung up on the fact he got the ball first when it doesn't matter, and it never has mattered in whether a tackle is a foul or not.

And the fact you refer to Vardy as "the noted play actor" when a 17 stone giant's just gone straight through his ankle studs up shows up the fact you're not being objective.

You don't remember correctly, he stepped on someones foot only. It's not endangering a player like lunging into his ankle.
If it causes an injury, then it has endangered him. You keep calling it a lunge. It looked more like a stretch to me.

Anyway, we're never going to agree, so I'll leave it there.

Unlucky red for me.
Don't think carry was hurt at all.
He didn't have to go off the field after attention.
It's a fashion decision.
And he was sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity

All of it. As I said, it's your opinion, which is fine, but don't try and dress it up as "facts".

That's the thing though, it's not an opinion. We have video evidence, it's not an opinion that he went into his ankle and ended up his shin. It's not an opinion that he had his studs up, or that he lunged for the ball.
