Mason should have drawn two sets of lines on that decision. He should have worked backwards.

Whatever has made the VAR guy decide not to draw the lines must cost him his job. It’s a fundamental element of his role.

Whenever their next VAR show is, they simply can’t release that audio unless the bloke has been sacked or that the systems were down and they couldn’t do the job.

If only the clubs had been given the opportunity to use the semi automated system this season , this could all have been avoided.
