Premier League Games 5/6/7 August '22 (new season)

Arsenal have been decent but nothing special. They’ll be in the battle for 4th with United and Chelsea

I thought they’d look better. There’s so little depth there I thought they’d fade over time but look really good early

Palace are a big and physical side though I think a lot of teams will be happy to take 3 points from their ground

They are celebrating there team winning the game, is there a certain tolerance level of celebration they should be under?
Yeah, they’re actually celebrating a meaningful result to start their season, unlike certain other supporters whose team plays in red…

It's been a "decent" Arsenal performance, I think Sky are going over the top regarding the performance. I think the standout for them was Jesus by a country mile, That lad Saliba had a good game.
Crystal Palace did have 2 or 3 very good opportunities to get level at 1-0. I was really surprised that Zaha was never switched once over to the right hand side to get at Zinchenko I thought numerous times tonight Zinchenko got caught out and should have been booked too.
All in all it's a good result away at Palace.

Alot of talk on here about the Palace left back Mitchell, I just don't see it with him he's bang average. Wan Bissaka was similar to him at Palace and I actually think Wan Bissaka is better defensively than him...Going forward he's a bag of shite.

No. My understanding is that the arm has to be in an unnatural position. If the ball is blasted from point blank range, and the defender has his arm across his chest, that won't be given. But if his arm is outstretched, at 90° to his torso, that probably will be given. This is off the FA website...

Clear as mud!

I've no idea either. So it sounds like Dias handball shouldn't have been a penalty as it doesn't fit any of these criteria???
