The only good thing about this humiliation for Brighton is they now have a point to prove against Arsenal. The downside is it's boosted Everton's confidence.

Everton playing a team on the beach today. On Sunday they will play a team who want the league. Same with every game we play against lesser teams. Take our chances and bar a voodoo curse or the ref we will win.

And even more, a 1-4 loss at home for Brighton means they will try to be 100 % focused in the next game, to relieve some of the shame of tonight.
