It's not about what they have achieved when they left it's about how much better our squad would be now if they hadn't.

Do fuck off Pep made a decision on a player and it’s one that in hindsight we could have done without however, it didn’t harm us at the time as we won the title with Fiden being player of the year so Palmer either wouldn’t have played or Phil would have missed out more and no one will know if that would have cost us the title.

Again, you missed the part of Palmer wanting to go out on loan for a year to prove he was ready for a big role

The fuck up is not letting Palmer go. Rather it is forcing a sale rather than allowing a
loan. Especially, when loan was Palmer's preference.

Reading between the lines from what both Cole and Pep said about it (and others for that matter) is that City couldn't afford losing a body on loan and needed cash to replace him.

Wasn't it that they had brought in Doku already? I don't think we were pressed to bring anyone in.

We just moved him on. Don't think we added anyone after he left. Maybe Nunes. But that was a last minute thing.
