Chelseas squad is also young, they are well prepared to challenge for many years.

They just need to upgrade on the goalie and some CBs.

We could have 2 or 3 over the last 5 or 6 years

We’ve won the League 6 out of 7 seasons , won a treble , 4 league cups , 2 FA Cups - just remind me what any single player who we’ve let go has won …. The last month has been poor no doubt but I wouldn’t be writing us off just yet

The dips will have a lot wobble at some point. They aren’t used to going full tilt on all fronts. Of course we need to improve but big leads can soon disappear.

This debate about letting young players leave is getting a bit tedious. A talented young player wants to play. At our pomp none of the ones we let leave were getting into the side ahead of Kev, Gundogan, Rodri, Mahrez, Foden etcetera. We've done fine without them and it's only now that we're suffering the worst amount of injuries I can remember everyone is saying we should have kept them. Both Palmer and Lavia look good yes but they wanted game time and nobody knows if a young player will make it. Look at Morgan Rogers at Villa. He was out in loan at three clubs then signed for Middlesbrough. He didn't look like he was going to be top class but t he looks it now. You just can't tell.

• and who should we not have bought.

And before you reply remember we have won 4 titles on the bounce and the Treble, with selling all of these stars, only now are we struggling and a lot of that is down to injuries.

Lavia has also had picked a fair amount of injuries since he has left City. Chances are his situation would have been similar if he had stayed.

Spuds lifted their trophy for the season a few weeks back at our place. Frustrating that we let them waltz through us at will.

They’re shite and the Aussie will be sacked and handsomely paid off shortly. Then the next guy will come in, Southgate? Potter? Moyes?
