The Goal posts keep getting moved but this doesnt bode well for clubs who want to break into Europe.
No they won't. Players want to play for the big clubs in the best competitions. It's not golf.The Saudi league beckons. They will instantly wipe the Prem off the map if this comes to fruition.
Simple,they want minimum layout and maximum payout..In theory it seems a good idea. but you have to assume it’s the red shirts behind this so what’s the real motive.
It's nonsense what is currently being suggested.Not sure how this would work in reality.
Presume they would have to use the turnover of the lowest club from the previous season.
What happens if a club in a few years has a one off really low turnover - clubs will have to sell lots of players to meet the cap even though they were well inside the cap the previous year.
But Shirley they're brands will be damaged without success meaning profits will lessen????The American owned red shirt clubs want this. They make money off their brands even without success. They just need to keep costs down to improve their margins.
