Premier League (midweek) Games 5/6/7 December '23

It would have been perfect it Luton could have kept it together for 1 more minute
Yeah that’s true but arsenal were expected to win, made hard work of it in a sense but won,we should be expecting to win on Sunday and that’s no disrespect to Luton,if we don’t well firstly let’s see how we go at villa and arsenal at Villa Saturday evening..

Referee continues to play on, well after the 6 minutes are up. Nothing happened in injury time to warrant any extension. The laws are quite clear that only a penalty kick can extend the time. A lot of refs have picked up this habit of ‘one last attack’ and its yet another way they’re actually controlling outcomes rather than just controlling the game they’re refereeing.
It’s always announced as a minimum of X mins Ref indicated that he was noting the time taken for the throwin just before There was nothing excessive
I don’t disagree about the one last attack though in general Just a minor tweak could be the game continues until the ball next goes dead after time is “up”

unfortunately Bellingham and Rice has been top class business in this summer for the new clubs. expensive as hell but top class.

even Rice adds some clutch goals already from DM position alongside leadership, fight, off the ball skills nd this fucker is never ever injured etc. probably will start 37 PL games as he did for WHU a lot of seasons.

Bellingham is on 15 goals + 4 assists in 17 apps for Real league and CL combined, sick.

I am looking at what we added in Nunes and Kovacic, fucking huge difference. from a position of strength (winning treble) we wasted long long weeks on getting Gvardiol over the line and also jumping from one midfield target to another until we ended up with plan F

Yep not a good summer window at all.

The club acted like they had no clue what Gundogan was doing or where Bellingham was going. So they tried a last min Rice bid and then panicked with Kovacic and then bizarrely went for Nunes who looks a poor signing.

Sure we've not seen lots of him but he didnt do anything at Wolves and showed nothing on the games he had here.

Not like City as they're usually sharp with transfers - Phillips aside.

If we are all honest on her Chelsea played their game of the season against us Liverpool and Spurs if we had converted the our chances against both games won no doubt about that
If you think I'm wrong then tell me

Bellingham is a bit different to Rice to me. If you were Rice, would you have signed for us? He aint starting above rodders, so....?

Kovacic wasn't a panic buy. That was lined up for weeks before the end of the season.

Nunes looking more like a panic /desperation signing which to be fair isn’t like us ..

The interesting thing is we play villa tomorrow night then Luton on Sunday arsenal won at Luton tonight and play villa on Saturday lets see how the results pan out ..
We will huff and puff against a resilient Aston Villa. Who in turn will roll over and get their belly tickled for Arsenal.

Luton who showed great grit tonight will someone manage to up their levels 10 fold against us. They won't give away any cheap free kicks in the dying seconds, that's for sure!
