Premier League officially investigating City...

Bring it on.

Prem have got enough of their own problems, they just have to be seen to do something because everyone else is.

Not that I’m bothered, as the rules are corrupt as anything, but what about Everton? They’ve spent £200mil+ in past 3 years and are getting beat convincingly by Newcastle. They make a fraction of our revenue, don’t have a £650mil deal in place and they want to build a new stadium. What’s the penalty going to be?

Will they have to cook the books to get rid of their manager (as we allegedly did with Mancini) or do they have to stick with him for however many years?

Not a dig at Mancini, love him and wish he got more backing after 2011/12 season.

It's one thing to be prosecuted. It's quite another when you know the judge, jury and prosecuting counsel all hate you and want you out of the way. How can anyone have any faith in such an obviously bent system?

Classless twunt and ideal owner for Dipperpool

Pressure on the Premier League to act has come principally from clubs such as Liverpool and Crystal Palace, who have American ownership with a background in US sports where there has long been a culture of strict financial regulation.
Where there's long been a valued culture of sugar daddy owners and a fear of ossification more like.

Bring on these "investigations". When FFP gets crushed in court for UEFA and the Premier League, what are all these clubs going to do then? Sook some more, absolute joke this whole thing and it's crystal clear why it's being done.
