Will the end result, the very end result, mean that EVERYONE will be able to get health care if they require it?

I suspect that the answer is likely to be 'no' Bob,although the news that privately employed sailors are covered is an enormous relief to me,as I haven't been able to sleep for worrying about them.

The Perfect Storm and it's message about this subject has led to a few sleepless nights for me as well.

Thank the Lord above that this is now sorted.

It will provide coverage to many people, including those with pre-existing conditions, so preventative health care will be a possibility for those who previously could not afford it.

Well then that's a good thing. Can't understand the opposition. Welcome to the first world American types.

No need, sweet ums. Those sailors have been dead for well over a hundred years.

Aren't you dear!

Understanding America is a difficult thing. To understand the inadequacies of the American healthcare system, just watch Michael Moore's SiCKO. It's a fantastic film. Even those who are insured can end up bankrupt from co-pays and deductibles. It's the number one cause of personal bankruptcy in the United State is paying for healthcare.

What if you can't afford to purchase insurance? If you don't insure yourself you willed be fined. Should taxpayers subsidize your coverage?

You shermans sure do seem to be singularly lacking in the irony and humour department.
Which itself is ironic, given that you elected Dubya.
Have we finally decided why anyone who opposes healthcare for all, regardless of bank balance,is anything other than a complete **** yet?

Yes. yes they should. America, for all of it's "have a nice day" attitude seems to be very much "me, me, me".

A small tax hike would pay for insurance for everyone especially the poor and the needy.

Painfully obvious from the beginning.

Sorry Bigga, no need to understand the argument, as they're all complete cunts anyway. Their opinions and concern are irrelevant. As are their votes.
