President Joe Biden

How about her?

Or him?

Or him?

Or maybe this guy?

Congrats to a Black woman. One of which there was only going to be a Black choice from Biden.

You could have picked any Black name to fill those tweets with.

Okay, we'll see if she garners the support in the polls. If she gets close to the 98% of Black women that voted Clinton, I'll shut up. let's go for 93%/94%. That's pretty fair.

You can hold me to that.

Oh yes before I forget @SebastianBlue she also chose not to prosecute Steven Mnuchin over the billions in subsidies from 35,000 housing foreclosures, pretty much done illegally, but accepted donations made to her campaign from him.

They all swim in the same shit filled swamp, fella.
Again, this is not evidence of your original assertion.

This is evidence of your displeasure with her selection.

And, by the way, you’ll notice I am not arguing against your concerns about her past (in)actions, as although it doesn’t matter as I cannot vote, I do have some similar concerns about her track record. That said, I have concerns about nearly anyone he could have picked. I have concerns about Biden himself.

But I would still vote for Biden/Harris if I could and I am trying to show you many people, inside and outside of the BIPOC community, seem to feel the same way, “neolib” or “progressive”.

This is a referendum on the continuation of ideal of the American democratic republic (even if it has never truly lived up to that ideal).

If Trump wins (and he very well may steal it, let’s acknowledge that possibility, which is completely independent of how well the Biden/Harris ticket plays), it will be the end of even the ideal.

I'm not saying the pair won't get over the line.

I'm saying the support won't be a given as much as people expect.

Remember, I think it's around 60%(?) of people don't vote. This is hardly going to bring them running to the polls as it will be 'more of the same' in their eyes.

You said to find posts from progressives that are in favor of Harris because they "tell it like it is" and I did. They're supportive. Now Black progressives don't count either?

Her maybe?

Her??

Like I've said, you can fill in a name in any of those tweets, it wouldn't change anything. I have my own thoughts on Harris, I know how much she changes her mind on things.

I haven't dismissed your posts as I'm the one who set the parameters the way I did. That's my issue for not inputting the way I was thinking on the page.

We'll see in the end how successful they are as a pair in the administration. They will struggle to change much in the first 4 years.

Again, most current evidence seems to be to the contrary.

However, depending on how badly Trump disrupts the elections (he is already doing it in myriad ways) we may never really know *exactly* how much support they did or did not get from the BIPOC voters (which are certainly not a monolith). He’ll be targeting non-white voting blocks for suppression, subversion, and disqualification.

Is it true that #45 has closed the average national pct gap to around 9 pts?
