President Joe Biden

Biden & Harris. He's picked the right one. It's a good team, combination of a wise old hand and someone for the future. Reminds me of Joe Mercer & Malcolm Allison, and that went well.
Biden isn’t fit to wipe Joe Mercer’s arse

On what basis do you assert that?

Based on her not getting the support she sought when running for Dem Nominee. If you're popular you get money, but she ran out of campaign funds.

Oh and how she constantly 'flip flops' on her positions; supporting M4A before pivoting away, keeping innocent people in prison whilst supporting jobs for ex-cons, refused to investigate officers for police shootings, finding it hilarious to lock the parents of truanting kids.

I dunno, take your pick.

Anyway, what does it matter. Biden helped create the prison mess that Black people find themselves in, but he's still the 'choice' by the media that tells people what to do.

Harris is a fine choice. Almost nobody votes on the basis of who the VP is for or against unless you do something ridiculous like choose Sarah Palin, so this doesn't really matter one way or the other. I think it would be great to have a woman president at some point though so I'm happy about it from that perspective.

None of this is evidence for why she does not have “Black support”.

And, as someone that lives in the US, I can say most evidence (from reactions of Black American leaders to the announcement, to polling about the VP candidates prior to selection, to conversations I have had with Black Americans personally) seem to point to the opposite of your assertion. In fact, I have quite literally gotten a few messages off mates and acquintences talking about how great it is to finally have something to be happy/excited about, especially as they are convinced Biden will not finish his term if Trump doesn’t end up stealing the election (and the country).

I can post a selection of leaders’ tweets regarding the selection if that would be helpful?

But I am sure you know more about what all of those people think than they do.

I'll tell you what, I'll let you post from leaders that are NOT neolib and see where you land. All neolibs will be in support. Progressives are a different breed as they'll call out their own, so will be honest where they see Harris.

That’s a convenient filter given you get to define who is “neolib”.

And I have a feeling your identification of “neolib” heavily overlaps with people that support the choice and/or you disagree with.

By the way, I was including leaders that have previously spoken about their concerns with Harris during the presidential primaries, some even referencing them this afternoon when expressing their support for her selection.

I think you are confusing “Black support” with Harris being everyone’s top preference.

Politics does not operate in absolutes like that.
