I wonder why America rejects such a message. Even Bernie Sanders, the “traitor“ to the cause lest we forget for endorsing Biden, gets it. Even AOC, the once and future queen, does.

Well, you get the drift. Imagine being your in teens and older and being told by your parents and elders of your community the very... same... shit as you were told back then, just now. And you look at the year you're in, which today is 2020. If one keeps voting in the same idiot politicians that read you the same script, you'll be back in another 10 years being told "wait your turn".

Same idiots voting for war, the same idiots trying to damage the earth for private profit, the same idiots bailing out big businesses using YOUR money that should should come back to YOU in time of need, you know like poverty, food, housing, medical bills.

It's the irony that slays! NOW, is the time people need help for shelter, health and food, NOW! But your millionaire politicians need to save their funds, so need bailing out NOW instead the working people who can wait.

Your streets are erupting through dissatisfaction, your cities burning cos of climate, your country is at a tipping point, but let's continue with the same knifing policies but with a sincere smile, this time.

Just our luck. 300m Americans, and about half a dozen looking in to this forum with the few Trumpers finally having seen the light (or the dark), and we get an outlier who thinks Trump and Biden are the "same coin".

If the children of the 60s still can't see their way to a socialist America, the times haven't changed that much. If you can't lend a hand to stopping the fascist in the White House, please get out of the road.

You can PRETEND Biden is the answer, as the children of the 60s and 70s do.

Imagine, just try imagining being beaten by your partner and feeling like there's nowhere else to go cos all your acquaintances talk you out of the right place for you, but keep telling you the person you hoped would protect you has changed now.

You want to examine that in real life? You would say fuck that guy off and rightly so. So to be told your abuser is the only choice you have to go back to is a travesty.

But, hey, you keep 'smelling the roses' or 'go to your happy place' when you return to the abuse.

A stupid analogy, but even in that scenario as an abused partner with myself and kids to protect, my first priority is to get rid of the mad axeman at the door.

It's an analogy that's 'stupid' because you blow it up that way. At least you know where the 'axe' is cos "mad axeman" shows you as he swings, whilst Smilin' Joe hides the knife as he kisses you sweetly, but still inserts it in your back as he does so.

At least with #45 you know he's the bad guy cos he flaunts it. With Biden in the case of Black people, he tells you he loves you but the treatment you get is 'for your own good'.

However you want to dress it up, Biden is the only alternative to Trump on the ticket, and the way I read it is that you'd rather have another 4 years or more of Trump than ever vote for Biden?

I don't need to go into the reasons why Trump is bad on the Biden thread; we all know why.

With Biden then you will be almost guaranteed a period of stability and calm (dependent on just how much more sh*t Trump can kick up if/when he loses the election). It's obviously going to take time to decompress post Trump, and then Biden can start to pick off the issues created or amplified by the last 4 years of the GOP/Trump dumpster fire.

ONCE ELECTED, and with the right messaging, Biden could potentially pave the way for a more 'progressive' ticket in 2024, but that is never going to be easy in a country that is way too far down the road of big business funding politics (on both sides of the aisle). The only way to fix that is to have a root and branch shake up of political funding, and we'd be talking a generation before that mess can be untangled.

Biden need to get over the line first. If Trump is reelected, then there the Republic as we know it is under serious threat, and even the chance a progressive Gov't in the USA is gone, possibly forever.
