President Joe Biden

Just listening to Biden’s speech in Gettysburg and I have to say that it is quite impressive. Even more so when you think that Trump’s latest offering was ‘Look at me, I’m the new COVID King!’.

No chance. When you consider he only just squeezed in last time and the low Blue turnout; he requires huge numbers to be added to those voters from 2016. Where are they going to come from?

It was pretty good.
It is a case though of the battle lines being drawn. Biden is trying to keep the high moral ground and show how unifying he will be as a president.
I’m afraid we can expect an intensifying if every dirty tactic and slur and misinformation from the GOP side.
It will be hard to fight that kind of campaign purely with moral indignation, but it probably is best to just let Trump keep hanging himself.

At this point in 2016 Clinton led by just over 4 points, she just lost, despite getting the most votes. That could happen to Biden, but it's not very likely....He's presently 16 points ahead.

He's leading in all but one swing state! Shit! He's even giving Trump a run for his money in Texas!

The orange fool is toast.

The absolute avalanche of early votes/absentee ballots is running twice as many Democrats as Republicans and 3x that of unaffiliated/independents.

Blue turnout is going to be astronomical. All Trump is doing now is trying to get out his base. That’s it. Nothing else. He has to because if he gets blown out of the water it’s going to be much harder to argue the election was “stolen”, which is the reed he’s clinging to.

He lost white women; he’s lost seniors. He’s losing independents. If he comes back from this it will be 5x the upset beating Clinton was. As I said about 500 times, this election is all about blue turnout. So far, it’s looking enormous. But . . . There’s a month to go still. Would anyone bet against anything in 2020?

Probably not considering how 2020 has gone so far. What a strange year on so many levels.
