President Joe Biden

"The perfect President for the moment" has decided to put his Tough Guy hat on...

War Hawk, Anyone...?

He can afford to do this, but not raise the minimum wage?!!

Haha! I guess nobody could see that coming...?
Two points:
1) Biden's strike on certain targets in Syria was aimed at curbing Iran's attacks on American personnel or interests;
2) Biden is pushing for an increase in minimum wages to $15/hr.

First point) Do you think this is better than invoking sanctions in order to bring an adversary in to line?

Second point) He is not as highlighted by me in the US Politics thread.

He is but he's got his own house senators saying they'll vote against the rise of the minimum wage. Cunts.

It's no coincidence he's started acting Billy big Bollocks with Saudi as well. Will he stick to his no fracking policy when he realises that could reduce their need for Saudi energy supplies? The US Intel report on what we all know already being released says no.

He's an upgrade on the Mango Mussolini, but that's not hard. Biden is the old status quo neo liberal hawk. I await our PM following him in desperation to be liked and calling Saudis naughty boys and offering to do illegal bombing raid on Syria on his behalf.

His propensity for war is transparent.

If he was willing to vehemently talk down to Black congressional caucus in Dec, who voiced concerned over putting Vilsack in as Agriculture Secretary (as he fucked the farmers over when he held the position under Obama), why would you think he'd be willing to find a more harmonious way forward, when it comes to international relations...?

Complete joke.

While both might be true I don’t think one necessarily follows the other

Agreed, but in this case?

It shows a streak in his behaviour where he's willing to confront his opponents. He's done it with voters at rallies, he's done with it with his own party members and now he's doing it on the international scene.

Seems pretty consistent to me.
