Just been watching BBC Breakfast and the doctor they had on said that it doesn't prevent you catching covid but reduces the likelihood of symptoms and hospitalisations (by 25 times).

Somebody working in the NHS spouting bollocks about covid (he probably doesn't even believe) just to win an iNtErNeT aRgUmEnT about US politics and Joe Biden because he can't ever put his big boy pants on and admit he was wrong.

I admit the headline looks especially awkward, but a lot less so if you read the article, so I don't think had I read it before you posted it I would have posted that it looks "awkward for Biden."

Only if he said he would and reneged on his commitment for the sake of completeness and I haven't seen evidence that he did commit to this.

its not a Biden issue I would suggest but for the Congress and legislators so it would be sad if the story has truth to it and he is not made to feel welcome.

he should attend and make a speech for sure and certain it was defining moment in the nations history.

its difficult when the national security of a nation could be compromised but you understand fully that victims of crime want closure and full disclosure and their must be a legislated time line into revealing the documents classified or not that is practical.

A simplistic analogy but the son of a murdered father would want to know if his mother planned the murder or knew about it in advance and did little to prevent it from happening even thought his sister pulled the trigger.

Yes, no commentary on their desire for understanding and closure, which I empathize with entirely. It's the 20th anniversary; Biden just happens to be President -- I suspect any President at this time would be treated similarly. Also important to note it's not "all" 9/11 families. I do assume there are some legitimate reasons to withhold information (protection of operatives perhaps?), but there also might not be. In that circumstance, conspiracy theories are bound to arise and I hope it's not the case here that these poor folks are being led astray by an "investigator" with less than their best interests in mind.
