I find it somewhat bemusing that at the start of these wars - iraq, Afghanistan - the US is desperate to 'coax' other nations into the fray. When the 'merde' is about to engage with the fan then it is US national interest that underpins anything.

I think you’ll find that although his approval rating is as low as it’s been since he became President, it’s still higher than Trump achieved at any point in 4 years beyond his first week in office. That’s based on 538’s poll of polls.Haven’t his approval ratings dropped to the worst ever in the first 7 months of a President? Heard it from Sky news so presumed reliable.

It's bad enough now, but just wait a couple of years and look at what damage he does to the U.S. over the course of his tenure. Then look at what trump did by comparison. I'd be devastated at the prospect of this radical regime having power if I was actually American but instead I just laugh at the demented sack of hair sniffing skin.
