I think you meant the coefficient of determination of a poster as opposed to "between posters" Fog.

the variables are fuctional brains and inability to spell etc.

Feel free to chose which is the dependent variable and independent variable.

1. “R-squared” is finance wonk shorthand for CoD, at least out here.

2. More important: read my post slightly more carefully.

3. And if you like, we can forget causation and just use overlapping Venn diagram circles.

Fair enough Fog , I thought you were using it in a mathematical sense.

What is to read more carefully I ask you though?

I thought CoD was some measure of a mutual funds performance or Cash on Delivery but I know little about finance.

Anyway my point is r-squared between posters means you can only includes one other variable not two.

Otherwise to have your sentence to make sense it is R to the power of three.

Its always a combination of things that go beyond these two issues but I would read much into it polls are polls and the only poll that matters is voting day.

I remember that Bill's piece of fluff on the side between conquests was supposedly a moral in 2016 only to fall on the day.

At one stage it was write you own ticket on the eventual winner and while I have no time for either as leaders or politicians as they have nought in that capacity IMO and as it transpired the fluff moaned and whinged that she was robbed to anybody that would listen until she became yesterdays news I put a cheeky 5 on the orange bloke at 100-1 on the day and wouldn't you know it I backed a winner for once.

maybe the Russians were running the books (LOL).

Sorry fog our polls estimate the likely outcome of our elections I am not sure what they do in your neck of the woods.

Again an oz thing maybe not a Golden Gate thing.
