The media has barely given Biden a break! Not been in office for a year yet, but passed the largest infrastructure bill in history (after about 10 “infrastructure” weeks under Trump and 4 yrs of promises vs the thin air he created!), all while COVID has been decimating normal life for most people…including those in Red States!

Yes, he’s an old fart, but he’s been a steady hand. People haven’t even given him 1/4 of his term yet, but they’ve got their own agendas and will pounce on any negative (and there are plenty in American life at present!) and run with the blame.

People laughed at Biden saying “100 Million vaccinated in 100 days,” but he not only aimed high, but beat it with 200M in UNDER 200 days!

People said he couldn’t get an infrastructure bill through a 50/50 Senate…DID IT!

Now, his enemies are gleeful that Manchin has said “No BBB, because I’ve suddenly found religion,” even though it’s a f’ing joke, because his entire family makes millions from the fossil fuel energy! One of the poorest states in the union, but in WV Manchin is known as Maserati Manchin! Not to mention the yacht!

Biden’s answer? Respect the Senate, respect the process, find out what deal Manchin could agree with, because Manchin actually WANTS much of what’s in there!

Methinks the obits were written early and often, and the nexus has been gleeful to report on the “failure,” even though no vote has been taken and Manchin wants to be shown the respect Biden has tried to publicly give him, while leaving the brickbats to staff!

Also on tape, his machinations against Hunter Biden in an effort to taint Joe Biden

On tape, his unlawful pressuring of election officials to overturn the Presidential election.

In spite of all of the above incontrovertible evidence against Donald Trump - actually documented on tape - he remains the most potent Republican figure in US politics and is beloved by his base.

So... whatever the 1/6 Commission finds - it's irrelevant. The Right will paint such findings as biased/false/etc. and should it proceed to criminal charges- it'll bog through the courts taking years and years and years - meanwhile Trump's base will decry these proceedings as an unfounded witch hunt.

He's not a saint - and he's far from charismatic - but his heart is in the right place. He wants to unite the US. He's willing to compromise and wants to reach Republicans if possible. He believes in the United Nations and in NATO - and indeed in international cooperation. And he bases his ideas on science and expert opinion.

I do wonder though what would happen if USA and Russia joined in arms against the Chinese what would be the outcome. I guess it would depend on stance of Japan, India and the European powers

I do not know - nor I guess would anyone - under such a scenario.

I would, however, observe that dictatorships and authoritarian regimes tend to support one another; too, Democracies tend to be on the same side.

Barring some sort of sea change, I can't see an end to Russian and Chinese antagonism towards the West; Japan is a staunch ally of Democracy - and India is frankly a wild card.

What Trumpists have to understand its not just about them its about their standing in the world as well - Trump was busy dismantling a nation and its reputation and dividing it politically culturally and on racial which is why he is terrified of being found out legally now. People like him - like Johnsons bunch of cunts over here don't get that and only care about money and the monied classes - hence they don't get culture. When Johnson goes he will wonder why cultural icons didn't support him and none of this would have happened at a Trump 2nd inauguration - he would have had Kid Rock sing All Summer long instead of an anthem and wouldn't care about a poet. An Oregon father who said ”Let’s Go Brandon” during the annual White House NORAD Santa-tracking phone call went into full “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) mode on Bannon’s War Room.

Now, there’s a surprise!

Wearing the infamous red baseball cap, he said - without evidence, of course - that the election was “100% stolen” and Trump is the rightful president.

In the episode uploaded on Monday, Steve Bannon asked Jared Schmeck about being “crushed by the mainstream media” over Biden’s Christmas Eve phone call.

“It was innocent enough at the beginning. We call NORAD every year. My kids and I do. It’s become a tradition. They just want to know when Santa Claus is coming to our area,” Schmeck began while wearing a MAGA hat.

“When I called, the volunteer who picked up told me that first lady Jill Biden was taking calls and asked if we wanted to talk to her,” he continued.

Schmeck then said he assumed it would be “a pre-recorded” Christmas message and agreed to talk.

He said he asked his “boy” to start filming the moment, “just in case it ended up being legit.”

Long story short, it was legit as both the president and first lady picked up the phone.

“It was clear that it wasn’t a recording - I didn’t know that it was being live-streamed at that time. And throughout the conversation, it popped into my head, and I guess the rest is history.”

When Bannon asked Schmeck what was going on in his mind after he said the controversial phrase, he said he was “pretty surprised” but thought it was “funny.”

“We had a really good laugh about it. I know it was said in a joking manner, in a humorous manner, but it’s a very serious thing, “he said.

Schmeck said that this was his “chance” to voice his disapproval of Biden and his administration - and took issue with media reports that said he didn’t support Donald Trump.

“I am a Christian man - for me, it’s God first and foremost. I don’t follow anyone man blindly. Some of the media has run with that and said I don’t support Donald Trump, but that’s absolutely false. Donald Trump is my president, and he should still be president right now. The election was 100% stolen. So, I just want to make that clear.”

Schmeck also said that “Let’s Go Brandon” represents the “entirety” of some conservatives’ frustration with Biden, “the administration, the leftist mob, cancel culture, end the mainstream media.”
