President Joe Biden

Remember not long ago, in this thread, when I said 'why doesn't Biden offer people an alternative leadership angle...?

Ample opportunity missed.

Now, here, Biden is telling half truths on the healthcare situation, isn't he? What #45 was doing prior to the pandemic has been halted as he looks for ways to deal with it.

Of course, I know you'll say how I'm talking bullshit again, when what I'm saying is as plain as the nose on your faces; where's the offer of hope instead of compounding the fear...?

Trump can chunter all right. He chunters absolute shit. If he has a written speech he stares straight down at it until he’s finished reading it in a monotone. All Biden has to do in a debate is not get distracted by Trump answering different questions to the ones asked and to call him on his bullshit. In a one on one Trump won’t be in control like he is in a press conference. Trump has the delivery of a third rate comedian unless he’s reading a speech when his delivery changes to dull as fuck with no engagement at all.

One on one and distraction is #45's wheel house.

That's what I've been saying.

So... when you hold an opinion that you regard as a truth I just, basically, ignore it?

Okay, I get it.

That’s up to you but not what I’m saying. If you hold and express an opinion in good faith that is fair enough. You’re opinion seems to be that Biden isn’t really up to it as candidate for the Democrats. That a number of people disagree with you makes the truth somewhat harder to establish. Because it’s all about opinions. But then you knew that.

And for what it’s worth, as far as Biden goes, I don’t have one.

So, where does my opinion stand against their disagreement? Mine is in good faith to believe he's uninspiring and a poor choice. I gave a really good example a few minutes ago for a chance to 'inspire' and 'lead'.

Tell me what you saw...

I’ve never understood the huge interest in getting involved in another country’s politics, especially a country that literally fought a war to get us to keep our of their business.

Yeah based on that clip not massively inspiring, not compared to Clinton (Bill) and Obama but I’d need to hear and see some of his speeches to form a fuller opinion.

While I know some on this thread basically want anyone but Trump in the White House, which is a fair position, Trump has changed politics and I’m not sure if a “nice guy” like Biden is the antidote or not. Prior to Coronavirus Trump seemed to be sitting pretty and nobody does lowest common denominator stuff like him.

Glad you took the time to see where my concerns lie, unlike the happy clappers on this thread. I have been shouted down and insulted with profanity, all because I have legitimate concerns and they don't see it.

That's up to them.

Prior to CV19, #45 had the stock market going his way. Whilst he's not in the greatest shape, he has a LOT of room to manoeuvre. He's spread-betting and hoping some of his numbers pay out.

One of those things is dragging the Dems into the $1T bailout with basically NO oversight whilst citizens only get $1200, which will likely be reclaimed in higher taxes!

Biden didn't suggest that was a bad idea as he has no desire to upset Pelosi, who gains from that, too.

The whole thing stinks, but hey, it's only my opinion...

It's a classic right-wing smear and you're buying it hook line and sinker. I'm even old enough to remember when Hillary was on the verge of death leading up to the 2016 election. Let's take a look at your guy (not my commentary, copy/pasted from elsewhere):

Go to 1:04:30. Bernie literally says "In 1941, we were at war with China and Hitler". Doesn't correct himself.

At one minute in, Bernie calls Robert Reich "Robert Rubin"

Bernie said he graduated high school with a ton of black students. He graduated with three black students. That's a clear memory lapse.

Bernie said 10,000 Palestinian civilians were killed in 2014 when it was 1,000. Later said he got his facts mixed up.

In a debate, instead of saying "those countries opposed to ISIS", he embarrassingly said "those countries opposed to Islam"

Bernie says Bush is the president instead of Trump in a debate and doesn't correct himself

He did the same thing twice in a hearing and only corrected himself after laughter./saying it the 2nd time

Got into the wrong plane. Even pro-Bernie TMZ called it a "brainfart".

Proclaimed that "we will pass gay marriage in all 50 states" nearly 11 months after the SCOTUS ruling. Makes no sense under any context

In live interview, Bernie Sanders called Wolf Blitzer "Jake" 3 times before Wolf corrected him. Then he still called him "Jake" 2 more times

Urged voters to support him in the Iowa caucus instead of the Nevada caucus when he was doing a rally in Vegas.

Confuses the Iowa caucus with the Nevada caucus again..

Bernie asked "who's the biggest threat between Russia, Iran, and North Korea". Answers ISIS multiple times until asked a 4th time by Chuck Todd

Said he was in Sioux City in Iowa instead of Sioux Falls in South Dakota

On a question regarding infrastructure, Bernie said "we need to rebuild the United Nations"

Said there are 500 superdelegates...no there are 771.

Incorrectly called the "Human Rights Campaign" the "Human Rights Fund"

Even Jeff Weaver said Bernie "misspoke and conflated a few facts regarding Russia" in a couple of interviews

Wrongly referred to a staffer as a volunteer.

Said he ridden the subway multiple times the past year but claimed that he used "tokens" to ride it whentokens haven't been used for decades. That's a clear memory lapse.

Bernie ran into a shower door; it can happen to anyone, but that's especially common for senior citizens with cognition issues "
Goodness. He’s clearly dropped out because of his cognitive decline...

In reality, Sanders health scares would have probably been the Fox repeated talking points rather than the above, but whoever the Dems put up would be taken apart in some way or another (Birthers etc with Obama, emails with Hilary). They will always go after something that’s bullshit because that’s what they do.

Like crime in a multi-storey car park, this post is wrong on many different levels.
