Press Reports versus Fulham

Passed the men billboard today it said Mancini to wield the axe? Thought is he chopping wood !!!

I find the media very strange indeed, and I understand why people on here used to go on about the 'agenda' against us. I feel there's been a bit of a change - they hardly put us down anymore. In fact, on Sunday Supplement yesterday, I don't think we were mentioned at all.
Are you sure we played - and won - despite being a goal down - due to a dodgy penalty - and we should have had 2 penalties - at a ground where the home team hasn't lost for 6 months? Nah - that can't have been City - can it? You know - City - maintaining their unbeaten run in the Premier League.

Im not one to whinge about the newspaper reports of Citys games, but here goes. The the reports on the Fulham match suggest to me that half the jourmos didnt see the game live. I read the Times yesterday and the Telegraph today and I must have seen a totally different game. Their own stats suggested City dominated over 90 minutes, yet the write ups suggests we got out of jail and were lucky to win. The coverage of the penalty incident is also bizarre. Not even a discussion that it may have been a poor decision. No one has won at Fulham since March I believe, so not an easy place to pick up three points, but the second half we totally dominated the entire 45 minutes, patiently waiting for the chance to win it. A superb away performance in my book. Very lazy journalism from papers youd expect more accurate reporting from.

and you are surprised?

it was the same on MOTD lets not talk about the pen the ref has had a bad time this week WHAT THE FUCK

if so why did the FA not take him out and give him a rest
he was past fit to ref the game and if he got it wrong they should say so

by the way he got it so wrong it was not even a foul outside the box
but i can not say a bad word about our mark after 1999 play off final

Point of order, we hadn't won for about 15 games under Halsey until last Saturday.

That said I still think he was a decent ref, unfortunately though since his illness he's making a lot of mistakes

The think that cracks me up about MOTD is they are always complaining about the divining and how it needs to be removed from the game etc.. then in the same breath they say that players should go down if they feel contact in the box.

I'm glad more people are starting to see what is going on with football in this country it is controlled by a rag loving media.

There will still be some who bury their head in the sand.
Most of them are on here.
Possibly obsessed rags who love bluemoon.
