That last sentence is bang on. For me they are the title favourites in terms of current form. It would be a dream of we can somehow turn on the style against them but I doubt it not without yaya and vinny.

I can't stand Redknapp but their fans are the reason I hate Spurs so much. I live in London and have to deal with them every day. I hate them, they are worse than Utd fans to the point that I would rather lose the league to Utd than to Spurs.

At the moment though I think they are the better team than us and Utd. I am hoping that they come unstuck, this weekend would be nice and the weekend after even better. If we beat Wigan then I suppose I wouldn't complain about a draw against Spurs, especially without VK and Yaya (hoping Silva will be back) but I really hope we can shut them up in the only appropriate way.

Didn't Redknapp take half of Portsmouth's players while they sank into Administration? What an honourable man.
This whole, look how much city have spent thing is becoming tedious now, it's hardly breaking news. He should remember who's paying half the wages of one of his strikers. Without us, he wouldn't have Adebayor.

In my opinion Redknapp and Van der Vaart even more so have written the team talk for us. There is not a week that goes by that Van der Vaart doesn't seem to be mouthing off about us in the Evening Standard (yes I am aware that if I live down here, I shouldn't expect anything different!).

I think we all realise that there are a lot of people who would love to see us fail and who would love to see 'plucky Spurs' win the league. We have to use this to our advantage and adopt the siege mentality many have alluded to. If we can't then we don't deserve to win it, it's as simple as that.

on the money fella.

On Wednesday walking away from the game I was as low as I have been this season and I believe the pressure is getting to us fans in a big way and we appear vulnerable.

I have had a couple of days to gather my thoughts.
I have continued to take in all the media propoganda (although I promised myself a short term news blackout) and I now see the light at the end.

Monday night is our biggest game of the season and I cant fuckin wait.
Bring it on.

Lets all stop this petty bickering at each other.
Its a game of football for Gods sake.

Stand up and be counted.

Your team needs you.

no pressure other than what is being applied by inconsistant refereeing decisions, even before the rags scored evra push his elbow into a city players face

Ta, but what's the female equivalent of fella?!

Anyway, I have been turning the radio off since Weds, every time football talk has been on and I tried not to read the back pages but I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. Sadly I can't completely ignore the Spurs fans I work with.

I'm going to try to be as positive as I can, a win at Wigan would help me out though!

All i keep on hearing is how great spurs are but its mainly from spurs players and redknapp i hear that they play at pace wow cos no team has ever done that before have they but i watched em against west brom and i have seen highlights of their game against everton and they dont look that great to me.

To me alot of this bleating isnt as much trying to get in our heads its trying to convince themselves that they are good enough to beat us, they keep on saying they are a much better team than when we played em well they wont have ade and they may have parker but thats about it so its the same team.

Yeah, we need to forget the recent setbacks in the form of defeats and players missing through injury, suspension, and the ACON, man the fuck up and get on with it.

Looking at the overall picture, our only truly bad performance of late was the first half against Liverpool the other night. As things stand we're still 3 points clear at the top of the league, still in the Carling Cup despite the loss on Wednesday, and went down fighting in the FA Cup game.

It's hardly a crisis yet and while everyone seems to be having a pop at us, let's not forget the Rags have lost their last 2 league games on the bounce and the pressure is on them to get back to winning ways this weekend.

'Arry 'Arthur Daley' Redknapp talking about other clubs or other clubs players, are you sure?? Not sure I can believe this.

Pressure might be on him a bit more if we cancelled Ade's loan deal - don't see him complaining too much about City subsidising his wages.

Big Mouth Strikes Again

I see Ol' Twitcher is at it again shouting his mouth off, i hope we have a clause in Adebayors loan deal to call him back. I'd sit him in the stands for the remainder of the season and say to that putty faced prick " Think before you go round gobbing off again Dickhead"... weren't too arsed about The Sheikhs money when he had his begging bowl out for our 5th choice striker was he....! Don't drop the soap, Arry. That's real pressure . . .

I think that Redknapp's Tottenham will finish more than SIX points behind us and most probably in 4th. If they do well, they'll come in third.

He's just up to his usual BS tricks.
