It was in the “parish” of Manchester I believe but technically in Lancashire, but West Gorton transferred to the township of Manchester in 1890 before Gorton transferred in 1910. So City were located in Manchester when formed in 1894.

The “not in my lifetime” mocking statement; their constant (incorrect) comments about our stadium; their constant references to oil money; their snide disbelief in our innocence re 115 - why would we want to align ourselves with them now just because their ticket prices are higher than ours - and they’ve done nothing to help themselves
