I've never taken drugs but when Aguero netted THAT goal some chemical hit my brain that I have never felt before or since. My team to watch in heaven, if I get there, will include Sergio Aguero.

Very different beasts.

Erling is a freak of nature - power, pace, great in the air and a fabulous left foot.

Sergio is the best finisher I’ve seen, bar none. He is also the club’s all time top scorer so had greater longevity.

If I had to choose now, Sergio gets the nod, but I recognise some of that judgement is influenced by great moments and memories from games at e.g Old Trafford, Wembley and at home against QPR.

Erling has yet to finish his story so let’s return to this debate when he’s 30+ years old.

For me it has t be Sergio. For his size he was incredibly strong on the ball and I cannot remember seeing him knocked off it. For a big guy Erling does not have the same physical presence on a consistent basis

Haaland, a modern day Niall Quinn on steroids. Missing in action, great scoring stats , but not usually in the key games. .

Erling Haaland joined Manchester City in July 2022 and in his debut season (2022/23) he helped City win the Premier League title with three games to spare.
