Programmes that used to scare you .

The Wombles (Great Uncle Bulgaria!)
The Royle Family (Jim scared me to death when I was about 5)
 
Captain Scarlet,watched it since and it's very noir,for a puppet show.
Also that," this is the voice of the Mysterons" ,that scared me a bit.
A kids show called Margaret Wednesday,which was about a girl being evacuated to Wales during the war.Had a character called Mr.Gotobed(BBC nonces strike again).
 
The moomins. Still scares me now

God yeah you needed balls of steel to watch that at that age !

When banners eyes changed to that weak green colour and he looked paralysed, then that funny structure made up of little balls lit up (cells?).

There was one episode of Goosebumps that gave me nightmares for months when I was about 7 or 8. About a swamp monster that was living in a basement and some little kids found it, they killed it in the end when the lad sneezed and it blew up but could be more out there...
