Programmes that used to scare you .

Saphire and Steel had a bit of an unnerving feeling to it.

The concept was ace, interdimensional operatives !

All irregularities will be handled by the forces controlling each dimension. Transuranic, heavy elements may not be used where there is life. Medium atomic weights are available: Gold, Lead, Copper, Jet, Diamond, Radium, Sapphire, Silver and Steel.
Sapphire and Steel have been assigned.

They should remake this.

there was a doctor who episode where these dolls ( looked like morph, but bigger)
came alive.....i was shit scared of them.

and hector from hectors house.....mad eyes !

yet hammer horror classics like dracula and frankenstein never bothered me !

Big Bird off Sesame street scared the living daylights out of me when I was a kid. It was the socks. Same thing happened with the woman in Tom and Jerry who used to shout "THOMAS!!".

Daleks used to frighten me and I thought Sylvester McCoy looked too camp to exterminate them.

I wasn't scared of Cybermen though.

When i was young i used to just hear the X-Files theme tune coming from the front room downstairs after i'd been sent to bed, creeped me out.

An episode of Star Trek where this robot woman was decapitated and her head was rolling around the floor with a long tube coming out of it thrashing about like a landed fish. Still can't sleep nights.

Another Star Trek when another woman's turned into a pig's face. I can see a pattern emerging...

But surely, although it's not a TV show, Robert Helpmann as the...the...The CHILDCATCHER....aaaRGH...

If that doesn't freak you out, you were never a kid.
